Breakpoint Commmentary by Chuck Colson: Habits of the Mind- A Mind for God

In his commentary Colson provides a tragic illustration for an important point: Christians must train their minds for the battle of ideas in the public square and he reviews an excellent resource to prepare us for this battle. As Paul argues in 2 Cor. 10:3-5 we must "destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God and take every thought captive to obey Christ." (ESV)

Introduction to The Daily Contender

I’ve started a new blog called “The Daily Contender” where I will try (and again I say try) to provide links to good commentary and articles while challenging you with some of what I call “Worldview Bible Commentary” where I seek to use the Scriptures to answer man’s deepest questions. I will also seek to tackle some of the deeper issues of the faith (theology, history, worldview concepts, culture, etc.) and practice (biblical ethic and cultural activism). I hope these articles and comment are edifying to you in your faith and may we all “contend earnestly for the faith once for all handed to the saints.” (Jude 3)
